I work all the time!!! And I still get everything i need done and on time. I was raised differently than a lot of my friends though. I have seen the people that these videos talk about, and I think to myself it is just not fair. I couldn’t do those extra after school activities and studying abroad, because I didn’t have any money, and when I get to applying for my career job I’m going to be looked down upon because I didn’t do a lot of extra stuff like that when I was in school. Sorry boss, but working 40 hours a week and being a full time student is a hard time, and I’m still broke. It will all work out in the long run though. The people that work hard and take pride in their work will get noticed. I’ll get noticed.

I really don’t think that people should be too worried about us entering the work force. We know how to get things done, and we have the resources to get them done quicker than most. We are good at multitasking, we will not admit it, but we enjoy it. We pick up on tasks and technology easily. We will do great things. YOU need US.

It's nice to hear that someone else has to work so much!
I hear you there brother! I think it is better in the long run for those of us who started working at a younger age. I feel that I am just a little bit more prepared than others because I have had my own money for so long that I can manage it wisely. Trial and error is one of the quickest ways to learn, and let me tell you what... I have definitely learned from some of my budget mistakes and found ways to correct them. While I meet others here, at Lindenwood that can't write a check or even know what "direct deposit" means. There are so many things that I need to learn at college that I am glad that working and banking is no obstacle for me to face.
